There's not that many full armor sets left to replace with characters. Figured I could use the game's dye system to palette swap existing characters to resemble ones that won't make the cut. Each dye-able piece of armor supports up to 16 unique colors, but I'll be leaving most of those slots empty and just give most characters a single alt or two because that sounds like a lot of work.
You might also notice in this screenshot that manes and tails have a bit more detail in the form of specular and normal maps; makes them pop a bit more.
