I cannot overstate how important this piece is to me.
Been a fan of Metal Gear Solid ever since I've heard of it from a Newgrounds flash, got my hands on a PC copy of MGS1 and absolutely loved my time with it. I adore Yoji Shinkawa's unbelievable art style and I wanted to have a proper attempt at replicating it. I'm certain I've got a long way to go before i can nail it down, especially considering I did this digitally because I don't have the tools nor experience to paint, but I'm still proud of the result. I'm so proud of the result. Plastered it all over already, as my phone lock screen, a wallpaper in my rotation and I'm planning to make it into my banner, I love it so much.
I hope You can appreciate it just as much. This is my baby, this is my geek nerd pet project and i don't remember the last time I beamed so much after finishing a piece only for myself. Tears maybe included.
