> The prompt for this week's NATG Alumni round is to draw a pony pondering or in deep thought. Since I really couldn't think of anything interesting for Rainbow to be pondered in, I decided to draw Rainbow Dash "looking for her emerald" or "wondering how the emerald was disappeared". If the title seems familiar to you, it's because this idea is inspired by an actual book called The Memory Police and emerald is one of the objects mentioned in the recollections of the narrator's mother. Although the message behind the drawing seems ordinary as Rainbow was just searching for her emerald that was lost a while ago, I later found that a quote like this mentioned above has an even deeper message. Sometimes it's not that the object itself was disappeared, it's the value of it, the historical value behind these trivial everyday objects. Story aside, I'm sorry if this drawing seems a bit rushed since I was so busy in this week and it's been very difficult for me to draw ponies in my free time, but I hope you enjoy this little creation!
