Description:

Once again, it looks like Grandpa Gilbert has arranged another date for his unmarried friends, Grandpa Gruff and Gruncle Gonsod. Luckily, Gilbert sets up dates for them with creatures the elders are actually close to, specifically, their respective admirers/ best female friends since childhood, Grandma Grizel and Grandma Gwyneth, and not random creatures like he did for some time in the past. Grandma Grizel is Gruff's classy, stubborn, and feminine admirer while Grandma Gwyneth is Gruncle Gonsod's tough, confident, street-smart, and tomboyish, yet loving admirer. However, this time it's a little different as this date is a DOUBLE date. The first of many with the particular Griffonesses actually. Dates in general always make the two old men feel kinda nervous and the fact that the girls seem to try to keep some sort of physical contact with their respective crushes in some fashion kinda adds more to it. But, hey, they're happy, and that's what's important to them.

Despite showing disinterest in returning the two Griffonesses' attraction, Gruff and Gonsod care about the girls and consider them their best female friends. They also claim that if they ever had to choose a female to date, Gruff would choose Grizel and Gonsod would choose Gwyneth, as the two seem to be the only girls they've EVER encountered that like them for more than just their 'flirting' and muscles. As an act of goodwill, the two elders are willing to take part in the double dates Grandpa Gilbert arranges for them (that they jokingly refer to as "Trouble Dates") so that the two elderly Griffonesses are happy. The two females are also the only girls ever allowed to hug them, kiss them (on the cheek), and call them the pet names "Gum-Gum" and "Carrot Cake". Grandpa Gruff and Gruncle Gonsod have shown on occasions that they are slightly, but genuinely, attracted to their respective admirers as they do say that they'd choose them if they had to choose a female to be with. But both Grandma Grizel and Grandma Gwyneth's two biggest turn-offs are their way-too-energetic behaviour and their habit of coming on too strong. Hope you like it!
