Blossom-thing's hivemind helps her to multitask, control her many appendages with amazing dexterity, and effectively adapt to new bodies or even multiple bodies at once but it can go overboard if she tries to do too much while being distracted and/or nervous. She really wanted to be back in her pony form so her body automatically started gestating her pony body which lead to the spider butt looking thing which contains her currently forming pony body. She's quickly trying to hide because it's so embarrassing to be seen like this especially while her body is performing disturbing icky gestation with strange noises and squirming. She seems like she could easily become a monster but she's truly a kindhearted person, however, she's self conscious about her appearance. She wants to hide her strange shapeshifting because she believes people will find her alien nature ugly or creepy and won't want to be friends because of it. Her skin is covered in white fur because of her self conscious nature, perhaps making her look a bit less monstrous.
She's trying to hide as quickly as possible kind of like a spider or insect trying to rapidly scurry away from sight but her excuse is really lame and easily seen through. Her body is huge but it's performing the amazing feat of crawling on the ceiling just so that it can hide a tiny bit quicker. The tips of her tentacles are able to adhere to surfaces similar to a gecko, spider, or a frog via setae and the van der waals forces. They are wide at the tips to increase the surface area sticking to the ceiling, helping her to not fall down from the ceiling. No matter how acrobatic and dexterous her body is, it's still huge at the moment so it looks kind of ridiculous seeing a huge tentacle spider crawl away on the ceiling! It's also interesting to see Blossomthing fall back on her animal and alien instincts she borrows from other species and have her act like a different species of animal or insect would.
Thank you to Pepper for accommodating my very strange ideas and doing such an excellent job!
