I think whats off about mistys new mane is a combo of things:
1: its too intense color wise
2: it isolates colors. her green eyes feel out of place because it used to pair with her mane highlights, now it feels out of place on the blue to purple design
3:the orange is kinda out of nowhere, it doesnt really fit into any other colors
