Sorry The Smiling Pony, When it comes to the top of the website, I was thinking of a Google-style menu/navigation bar on top, with the same color scheme, that's as simple as possible. The search bar would be located right next to the menu bar's buttons, on top of the navigation bar, and the user's profile is a clickable (or tappable on touch devices) drop-down menu.

Didn't this site actually had a drop-down menu once?

Plus, I'm learning some CSS and HTML, so hopefully, I'll code it and make it work for myself.
