The secrets we keep.

And so, We've come full circle.
As Grims Job as a tour Guide would one day take him back to the ancient cave of symbols. Symbols that he now knew held meaning not found in the guide material. Of secrets of the stars and ancient gods that lay slumbering and hungry beyond realitys edge. Secrets best left hidden.

And so, this tale comes to a close. A tale untold by any but me and my friends. A tale that binds us through a pact of friendship as well as secresy.

Though a small note im gonna make in this here diary of mine. Will be a little epilogue if you will. of the time i was taken back to the place where it all began.

I guess it was inevitable that my job as a tour guide would one day take me back to the ancient cave of symbols. Those old wall carvings that my Glyph told me held a meaning not found in the guide material. Thats where I first heard of the old ones. Of secrets of the stars and ancient gods that lay slumbering and hungry beyond realitys edge. Secrets that I would not have been incline to believe, had I not come to experience what I did.

So why am I even writing this? If those secrets are best left hidden? Possibly because its the only way that I can get it out of me. The only way ive been able to come to terms with, and rationalise certain events. By laying it all out before me. Even if It will forever stay locked up here in the Miveran Estate. Along with the secrets that I must forever keep.

And its also to these papers that I want to make a final little confession. The confession of what I had to do in order to enshure the secresy and safety for the sake of my friend Mivera. As ceirtain things can not be alowed to be trazed back to us or her. Less all our lives may be in danger.

For what was to be done about those old cave carvings? Well – I did the one thing I was best at. I hid them. Not by burrying it or destroying it. I'm not one for blowing upp caves or vandalizing ancient relic sites.
But through Tale-telling. Concealing the dark truth beneath tales more suited and welcome to gullible tourists.

Tales of how the enquines of old must surely have looked upon the forces of the world and the sky like something of great worship. As there is little to be found more awe inspiring then the great yellow orb of the sun. Or more mysterious then the stars that twinkle in the dark. Or indeed the vast oceans, who to the land living seem as strange as any could imagine.

I like to continue to spinn these tales as how the symbols might be the very first depictions of Celestia and Luna. Since the mere mentioning of these living deities is enough to grab the attention of any tourist — coming here from central equestria to hear about how their revered empress's influences stretches back throughout the ages.

But there is no doubt that even these living deities, even through their thousands of years of living and countless achievements, pale in comparison to the vastness of our history.

For this world is ancient. And holds tales many tales of equal, and far greater legend.

Author's notes: And so it is, dear readers. That we have finally come to the end of the long and arduous tale. A tale that took me 2 years to finish. I first began releasing pages for oktober 2018, and hoped to finish it that same year. But every time I tried, I was overcome by an unbelievable fatigue. Pages just took longer and longer to make, untill I stopped entierly, picked it upp again, and stopped again. Untill Finally this year I decided that i was gonna finish it no matter now what.


And I'm glad I did. As Im finally able to breathe out, no longer having this project nagging in the back of my head.
