I think that when money gets tight, there's a lot more incentive to look the other way.

If the description didn't specifically mention that the hoers was being adopted to be a children's pony with two crazy kids who liked horses, then the reception of the post would probably have been better.

I'm not certain that they cut corners, but I'm also not certain from the post that they went out of their way to cross every t and dot every i on the paperwork. That this happened during the coronavirus economic rape makes things automatically suspect.
