I sort of layered multiple jokes into this one social commentary style jokes into this.

First I was going off the drama where wootmaster harassed hattsy into having to issue a second apology about his behavior and use of the N word. This was nearly a year after he issued the first apology because it "wasnt good enough". Its abhorrent to think you can abuse someone because their apology doesnt meet you own criteria for an acceptable apology.

Secondly and more broadly, I was going for a comparison of wootmaster to fascist tactics of suppression. The tactics he uses include: dragging people through the mud publicly, forcing and coercing people to change their ways by threat of and active employment of social ostracism, doxxing and cancellation. These are all similar tactics employed by loyal followers of fascist governments and encouraged by said governments.

Similar tactics were used by those in nazi germany, wherein citizens of non-Jewish decent were encouraged to report and turn in their Jewish neighbors. The nazi government employed threats of violence against anyone who would refuse or was found to be harboring those considered undesirable in their country.

This isnt just woot but the entire idea of cancel culture. Threats of social ostracism can result in people being fired and being deemed unemployable or a liability. No company, conscious of their image, wants to employ someone deemed undesirable. So starvation, homelessness and even death are all very real possibilities depending on the scale and severity.
