Luna got out of bed. “I think I hear something.”

“Probably just the guards, hon. Go back to sleep.”

Luna's eyes glowed blue and cutie mark shone. Suddenly, she ran full speed towards the nursery. Twilight, sensing her wife’s concern, followed soon behind. The scene before them was horrifying.

Celestia-no,-Daybreaker, held a twin in each hoof, her horn glowing and fangs shining brightly. “Hello, girls.”

“Muma!” Harmony screamed, trying to wiggle her way out of the alicorn’s grasp.

“Now, now, wouldn’t want to get-“ Daybreaker lit her horn- “hurt.”

“Sister, What are you doing?”

“Well, that’s rather silly. I’m taking over Equestria, and I can’t do it if you and your Magical twins are in my way!”

Twilight eyed Luna in pure horror, her eyes starting to tear. “We need to do something!”

“I am here to make you a deal, Princesses. You give up your magic, and I let the kids live. Or, you can choose to keep it, and-“ a spark flew onto Artemis, burning him slightly. “I kill you and your entire family.”

Suddenly, a flash of pink and yellow magic, as Twilight teleported Harmony and Luna to the other side of Ponyville.

“NO!” Daybreaker growled, lunging towards Artemis. Who was curled up on the floor.

“Artemis!” Twilight leapt in front of him, horn glowing and sparkling with a shield. It wouldn’t hold forever. She had only one choice. “CELESTIA! If you’re still in there, you need to stop her! Please!” She sobbed.

Daybreaker only cackled louder. “Fool!”

Twilight closed her eyes, wrapped her wings around her young son, and-

A flash of rainbow.

Okay, so as I’ve said many times, I absolutely HATE Celestia. So, making her a villain? HELL YES.

So Celestia didn’t turn evil on her own, Daybreaker’s appearance was a result of when she accidentally pricked herself on a Crystal in the Crystal Empire. (Sleeping Beauty, much?” The Crystal somehow cursed her.

So for the record, all the Mane Six and their families are COMPLETELY fine. No-ones dead or seriously injured. Twilight sent her to the moon.

Luna is of course not mad at Twilight, she was doing what she needed to. However, with her sister gone, she rose to become the Queen of Equestria, wielding the moon and sun. I’ll do more on that later.
