I don't understand it. He contributes nothing of value to be so protected. His uploads are all shitty macros, his autism shines so blindingly bright that he can't even pretend to carry on a simple conversation like a minimally functional human being and he spends all day submitting false reports. And he doesn't have a donator's badge so it's not like they have a financial stake in keeping him around.

Yeah. I've noticed Zizzy and certain other mods clamping down more and more over on Ponyboouru. It keeps going where I think it's going and I'll just write it off and move on. Encourage a few of the better members to do the same. Come here, maybe.

I really wish one of the mods would publicly slap down that faggot Zonai (who recently changed his name to Fierce Diety or some shit). It's very easy to see that half the reports crying about people being mean, reporting three month old comment sections that have long since died and so forth are coming from them.

Or you actually contact them properly and try to help them, as futile as that may sound. They're still people and they probably just lack a friend or family figure and it's important that someone at least does that. No matter how much the content they're uploading is complete trash and reprochable, someone close has to explain it to them in a way they can understand without wanting to take advantage of them. Sadly the world is lacking these kind of people by the day even more and asking for such a monumental task is unreasonable in the easiest of terms, even more so for a case such as this.

Impersonal bans don't solve shit, all they'll see is a screen saying they can't post because rule #69 and to appeal or go away. They'll just evade and keep spamming as they have while learning nothing and make a headche for a moderation team at your behest that would rather take it easy or do something else. It is the community who should deal wih issues of the community.

There's no moral obligation to explain a grown ass manchild on some japanese inspired cartoon booru for a dead series ravaged by fucking hasbro that what they're posting is shit and nobody likes it via an equally childish reprimend. I don't think that's enough. People who go into someone else's house, drop their trousers, and take a shit on the carpet merit a smack on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper, or the metaphorical equivalent, at an absolute minimum. There exist a moral obligation here to make them understand that their behavior is inappropriate and unwelcome. Otherwise they destroy everything they are permitted to touch.

You did not have the tools back then that you do now. In an enviroment that allows for self-censorship such as this, it is not required to have a moderation team to act on minor grievances outside of the actual forum parlances that handle said site, as the userbase should be completely capable of applying their own measures of deletion and filtering on their own.
The only exception to this comes with content that does not fit the platform at all, content that is illegal nature and content actively harming the site through exploits and the like, for that the report button exists.
