I like the animation but the gameplay is an inferior clone of A Hat in Time. Look at how sluggish movement is, it looks boring.

Is this how the game looks, rendered in real time by the game engine? That's impressive high poly animation right there. The game content as it is presented here does absolutely nothing for me but the animation looks very good.
