The intriguing thing here is that Imalou hasn't said one word, so far as I am aware, about French law as it pertains to abortion. Not one word. Though Macron was preening for the TV cameras last week, bloviating about how the Americans are so backward and medieval and restrictive, and how he and France stand for women's rights.

I can't hear anything but circus music any more, and it gets louder and louder and louder.

It's also perfectly rational and appropriate for someone to oppose their country's laws, especially if they're even worse than what's happening in the USA. It's also sensible that Imalou wouldn't know about France's state sponsored murder of pregnant women, since politicians are kind of good at making unflattering actions of theirs obscure and invisible.

It's also probably not very smart for her to say that she would commit crimes on Twitter.

Imalou is French. France's laws on abortion have always been much more restrictive than those anywhere in the US, including Mississippi, that wanted to ban abortions after fourteen weeks, whose case went to the Supreme Court resulting in the recent decision. France banned abortions after twelve weeks years ago.

But sure, it's perfectly rational and appropriate for a foreigner to be holding forth on American politics and American court decisions that have yet to result in any state or jurisdiction within the US having abortion rules as strict as they are in the country where she lives. Yes.
