Story — Daytona Beach Party Time

Summary: The Mane Six, Party Favor, Double Diamond and Night Glider go to Daytona Beach for a beach party, in which Party Favor plans on playing his beach volleyball with everyone.

"This looks like a good spot that we can play volleyball!" Rainbow Dash told the group, just as they arrived in Daytona Beach on a hot day in the summer.

Party Favor, the pony who is standing in the front, is levitating the beach volleyball he is carrying with his magic for a beach party that he can play with his fellow friends, Double Diamond, Night Glider and the Mane Six.

"Man, the temperature sure is warm." Rainbow Dash commented about the sky being clear and the sun was getting very bright and wished she had her sunglasses with her. "Daytona Beach is the newest in Florida I have ever seen in my life!"

"Hasn't Florida seen any cities being cool during the summer?" Fluttershy asked Rainbow Dash, wondering why it always gets hot and warm everywhere in Florida.

"Eh, not sure, but the south seems just as hot as the west side of the United States." Rainbow Dash replied, recognizing how much the weather in both the south and the west can be during the summer months. "I mean, it wouldn't be a bad idea when I create thunderstorms in this city."

"Rainbow, don't even try!" Applejack warned Rainbow Dash, as that can lead Rainbow Dash in trouble when she tries to make thunderstorms on her own in Daytona Beach.

Wishing she would make herself a speech about the current topic, Rainbow Dash eventually kept her mouth silent and therefore the topic was dropped, in which Applejack finally ignored her.

"Hey, where's Sugar Belle?" Twilight Sparkle asked, noticing Sugar Belle is not with the group.

"She and her husband are somewhere in St. Louis visiting a garden." Night Glider told Twilight Sparkle, since Sugar Belle prefers being with her husband more often instead of her friends.

Although Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack felt unhappy that Sugar Belle didn't come along, nevertheless, they respected Night Glider's words given towards Twilight Sparkle.

"Aww, shucks, I was hoping me and my sister-in-law could play together for the beach party!" Applejack said, as she really wanted Sugar Belle coming along on the current adventure in the real world.

"Yeah, because that would be really FASCINATING!" Pinkie Pie agreed with excitement.

Afterwards, Party Favor sat down and prepare his beach volleyball. "And now, it time for beach volleyball!" He said, getting ready to play beach volleyball with his friends.

"I'll be going with the other three for this game." Twilight Sparkle declared, walking towards Party Favor, Night Glider and Double Diamond since the group has nine ponies, and they must split in half.

"Hmph, if you insist." Applejack said, as she doesn't mind Twilight Sparkle joining the other side.

And without further ado, the game started and Party Favor serves the ball first jump and hit the beach volleyball with his hoof, and then Rainbow Dash from the other side kicked it straight back towards the other team, but Double Diamond luckily intervened and kick it back like Applejack would.

"Surf's up!" Pinkie Pie shouted with excitement jumping in her own style and hit the beach volleyball straightforward, going past the other team, which earned her team a point and thus they won the beach volleyball game.

"Man, Pinkie's so quick and being a good thinker." Applejack told Rarity and Fluttershy, seeing just how much Pinkie Pie can be with her own imagination.

"I really wish we could play this further, but I'm kinda tired." Rainbow Dash yawned, as she just prefers laying in the sand and look at the clear blue sky.

"Does she always take a break after playing games?" Party Favor asked Twilight's friends, which they weren't sure about. "Never do you see ponies taking a break from sports game every day.

Night Glider and Fluttershy join in with Rainbow Dash, relaxing in the sand, looking at the sun and sky. Meanwhile, the rest played with the beach volleyball one at a time.

"Wing ponies, I'm tellin' ya. They always hit the books when they sleep." Applejack told Pinkie Pie, finding it as a joke that the wing ponies such as Rainbow and Fluttershy, take a nap during free time.

"Good one, Applejack!" Pinkie Pie replied with a hysterical laugh, with the others laughing along and continue playing with the beach volleyball for a while, and the other three still remains relaxing in the sand.
