Story — Applejack's Back in Alabama

Summary: Applejack visits Birmingham, Alabama again, this time helping out with the citizens that need the trees within the city staying safe and protected as much as possible.

Applejack was walking briefly on the road, and then walked on grass, and she saw a sign that read, "Birmingham: Tree City, USA Welcome". Applejack was beginning to think on the trees near her.

"Hmm, I wonder how I can help with the people in this city with the trees." Applejack thought, figuring out how she can help the citizens keep trees safe and protected.

Applejack looked at a green house and light pale blue house not so far away from her, and she decides that she should get some help from the neighbors nearby. "I gotta go find some assistance." She said, rushing towards the houses close.

However, Applejack stopped herself before her hooves touched the road, looking both ways make sure no cars or trucks are coming. After looking, she didn't see any and continued her path. "Man, so close…" She said.

Applejack came towards the green house and knocked her hoof on the door, hoping she will have an answer. About almost thirty seconds later, Applejack saw the neighbor revealing a 35 year-old man named Mark and his 27 year-old wife, Savannah.

"Good afternoon, people." Applejack greeted herself with Mark and Savannah, who seemed happy that she has came just in time. "I thought you people would need some help with the trees over there."

"Please, we do need some help with our trees around the block staying healthy." Savannah told Applejack, who spoke with a southern accent. "The trees haven't been staying safe and healthy following the bad weather we had, and the neighbors would also need some help with that, too."

"If you would please, the trees have leaves in them, but some have been falling lately, and that is one reason all the trees and not protected and safe yet." Mark said, who also a southern accent just like his wife does.

"Don't worry, I have a better idea." Applejack said, giving the couple a new way that trees are gonna stay safe and protected. "I can create some new trees for you along with the ones that already exist."

Mark and Savannah looked a bit unsure about this idea, although they accepted it anyway and followed Applejack towards the trees.

Applejack, Mark and Savannah looked at the trees, in which they are still safe, just not perfectly protected and healthy following the weather they had two days ago. "This calls for the help from me!" Applejack said with bravery, knowing that her duty is to keep the trees more healthy, safe and protected in the future.

"How do you know that you can plant trees?" Savannah asked Applejack, curious about why the latter is so capable helping out with nature and the environment.

"Easy, we earth ponies just plant and fertilize them." Applejack responded, as she has been a good helper with making plants and flowers in Ponyville and Sweet Apple Acres. "That's one of the few things we are good at!"

Applejack proudly stomped her hoof to the ground, and suddenly, a tree started growing at the same size as the others, leaving Mark and Savannah both shocked and surprised.

"I-Impossible!" Mark said, never seeing a pony planting a tree using hooves. "I've never seen you do that! H-How did you…?"

"Oh, we earth ponies can stomp our hooves onto the ground." Applejack told the Birmingham couple, as earth ponies' abilities where they stomp their hooves onto the ground that creates plants and other nature-related things became a power nobody has saw before.

Later, the other citizens around the block, including Mark and Savannah's next door neighbor, David, have walked and saw what amazingly has happened just now.

"Where did this tree come from?" David asked Mark, knowing the tree that was planted from Applejack stomping her hoof never was completely just born.

"That tree was made with the help from pony." Savannah told David, as she finally understood how earth ponies can be so helpful with the environment and nature itself. "She's a huge helper with keeping our trees strong and healthy."

"Well, that sounds like a very helpful thought." David said, appreciating Applejack for doing something that the humans can't do.

The citizens cheered on Applejack for helping out with the nature, creating a tree with her hoof stomping the ground. "I thank you all for welcoming me as a pony who just loves saving the nature and the trees around this city!" She said, waving her hooves at the humans while walking away with excitement, continuing her plan on saving and keeping more trees elsewhere in Birmingham, Alabama safe.
