Summary: In New Orleans, Pear Butter encounters Windy Whistles at a park following the last time they encountered each other. However, now they have Bright Mac and Bow Hothoof involved, with the latter feeling more confident and the former feeling nervous for Pear Butter's rivalry with Windy Whistles.
Bright Mac and Pear Butter are sitting on a bench at a park in New Orleans, spending the time between themselves, holding each other's hooves.
"I feel so happy that it is just between you and me, Buttercup." Bright Mac told Pear Butter, calling her via through the nickname he had given her since a long time ago. "The place is warm, the sky is all fresh, everything just shines right on us."
"Yeah, sure it is." Pear Butter responded, kissing her husband's cheek while taking a look around behind her seeing the nature involving medium-large trees around the park.
Bright Mac briefly took off his hat and he stood up, taking his direction towards the small pond nearby. "What can I tell you? There's nothing better except a fun day outside with me and you." He put his hat back on his head and wanted Pear Butter to come take a look at the pond with him.
Pear Butter giggled as she took her view at the pond along with Bright Mac. "You know, the weather is kinda dangerous." She told him about how dangerous the weather is in New Orleans, usually in the summer and autumn seasons.
"That doesn't mean we can't visit this beautiful city." Bright Mac replied back, not really caring about how bad the weather can be in the summer and autumn, though spring sometimes have the same situation.
"Fairly enough, we could play some music together, only if I had my guitar…" Pear Butter said, as she forgot to bring her guitar with her.
"I'd rather see the birds sing." Bright Mac suggested they see birds singing a nice song about him and his wife.
Meanwhile, Windy Whistles was with her husband, Bow Hothoof, hiding behind a big tree, spying on Pear Butter and Bright Mac sitting down on the grass and watch them hold each other's hooves again.
"Who are they?" Bow Hothoof asked Windy Whistles, as he never recognized those two ponies before in his life.
"That's Pear Butter, the mare that have encountered before." Windy Whistles told her husband, having a bitter rivalry with Applejack's mother. "She's that cowgirl's mother, and that stallion must be Bright Mac, her husband."
"My, they must not realize that we are also around the area." Bow Hothoof said, never knew that the two ponies weren't aware that he and Windy Whistles would also be coming.
Windy Whistles looked at Pear Butter and Bright Mac for a split second before she hid herself back behind the tree. "Don't worry, we have a surprise for them. A big one!" She came up with a very interesting idea she and Bow Hothoof can do.
The two sat down and began deciding what they should do in order to ruin Pear Butter and Bright Mac's day.
"Oh, I know!" Windy Whistles told her husband, having an evil smirk on her face.
"What would that be?" Bow Hothoof asked Windy Whistles, wondering what she is scheming so that Pear Butter and Bright Mac don't notice about this until later.
"I will bring an air horn while the two sleep, and when I will let you know when the time is right to do it." Windy Whistles replied, having the best idea she has had so far. "Now, all we gotta do is wait."
Bow Hothoof continued sitting behind the tree while Windy Whistles went looking for an air horn somewhere. Minutes later, she came back with the air horn.
"Found it!" She said, grabbing just what she needed. "Now we can put our plan into action!"
"I like the sound of that!" Bow Hothoof agreed as he and Windy Whistles commenced approaching towards Pear Butter and Bright Mac with the air horn Windy Whistles has in her hooves.
Both Bright Mac and Pear Butter are lying down on the grass, resting with eyes closed, looking at the sun, unaware of what Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles are scheming.
"Looks like they are sleeping for real." Windy Whistles told her husband, watching Pear Butter and her husband sleeping without noticing her and Bow Hothoof standing behind them. "Here, I will let you do it." She passed over the air horn to Bow Hothoof.
Bow Hothoof blows the air horn very loud, waking up both Pear Butter and Bright Mac, the latter two screamed in shock.
"What in tarnation?" Pear Butter wondered, as she stood up after Bow Hothoof blew the air horn. When she and Bright Mac turned around, they noticed that Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof are also around.
"Why would you do that?!" Bright Mac shouted at Bow Hothoof for interrupting him and Pear Butter from sleeping using the air horn.
"Oh, you know that we'd be coming at this place and ruin the time you both are having." Bow Hothoof told Bright Mac giving Windy Whistles the air horn back. "After what my wife has told me about you and Pear Butter, we decided to come here, too."
Pear Butter angrily walked towards Windy Whistles, snarling at the latter. "You both are gonna wish you didn't visit this park." She pointed her hoof straight at Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof for messing up her honeymoon with Bright Mac.
"Oh, and like what are gonna do about it, huh?" Windy Whistles asked, giving her the smirk, which Pear Butter didn't like.
"I am gonna kick you in the flank!" Pear Butter threatened Windy Whistles with a kick right on to her flank.
"Heh, I wanna see you try, loser." Windy Whistles taunted Pear Butter about kicking her in the flank. "If you honestly believe you and Bright Mac are any better, you aren't! Me and Bow Hothoof are the best parents out of them all!" Windy Whistles declared with boast in her.
Pear Butter, feeling insulted over what Windy Whistles just said, started having her hooves up in the air, ready for a fight. "That does it!" She yelled and walked a bit closer towards Windy Whistles, getting right up in her face.
"Can't stay down, can you?" Windy Whistles asked, knowing that her and Pear Butter's rivalry will not ever change.
"Never, 'cause me and you have such a strong frenemy relationship with each other, just like how Applejack and Rainbow would have!" Pear Butter argued with Windy Whistles, as she refused to get out of Windy Whistles' face.
"Ooh, this is so fun!" Bow Hothoof cheered with his hooves in the air as he watched his wife argue with Bright Mac's wife. "Mares are wild! Fight, fight, fight!"
Bright Mac looked worried over his wife arguing and fighting with Windy Whistles, and felt unsure what he could do to break up the confrontation between the two mares.
"I'm the best mother around!" Both Pear Butter and Windy Whistles yelled at each other, declaring themselves as the best mother in Equestria, respectively.
"Nuh-uh, I am!" Windy Whistles argued back, considering herself as the better mother compared with Pear Butter, who would be the second best mother in Equestria.
"No, you are not!" Pear Butter shouted back, believing she is the best mother and Windy Whistles being the second best mother in Equestria.
"Yeah, keep arguing, ladies!" Bow Hothoof still continued cheering for the two mares arguing with each other. "This is like the best day I have seen so far. Mares fighting and arguing puts me in a good mood right now."
Pear Butter and Windy Whistles kept on going with each other, until Bright Mac finally intervened and stopped the two mares from arguing any further.
"Please, just stop, please." Bright Mac has had enough with his wife and Windy Whistles arguing so much, and could not take it anymore. "I don't wanna see you and Bow Hothoof around us again." He angrily pointed his hoof at Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof, as he is fed up with the games and pranks Windy Whistles and her husband have caused from earlier.
"Go on, cowboy!" Bow Hothoof told Bright Mac, as he dared him to say another word. "We'll find you again next time!" He said with excited.
While Bright Mac and Pear Butter walked away with frustration that their day was completely ruined, Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles, on the other hand, walked away looking calm and relaxed, knowing they will find them again someday in the future.
