honestly I'm anti AI. For all the good reasons and “dey taken our jerbs” is definitively the least concern one.
but why would we decide X or Y should not be archived and have someone saying if X is allowed, why allow Y, it's just pressing a button of an electronic device and Z is just playing with models.
I don't think AI is going to remain a thing that'll last forever but it's also our duty to preserve it like the rest, disregard if we like it or not. Because one day, we don't know, when AI content would become illegal or for whatever reason the technocrats in power will decide, or any reason we ignore yet, we may regret such a decision. So there's AI generated content, It exists, it's a part of the times we live in like a lot more things.

I get that just sucks that the rankings are always flooded with ai art. Also sucks you guys have to do extra work for content that is just able to be pumped out like nothing, and by people that at times might not give a shit. Tbh ai art is fun to use for specific references so I like to scrub through the ai stuff sometimes.

This has been discussed many times. The conclusion every time is: use filter function.
Sorry friends, but the goal of this site is to "archive everything" and let everyone decide what to filter.

If AI enjoyers want to make their own site, then they can. Has nothing to do with our operation. Of course, you mean to say you want to ban all AI images on this site while trying to save some face. If you are serious, take the conversation to a forum post and lobby an actual complaint about the ruleset of the site. Thank you.

I kinda agree with background pony, there should be a booru made for ai stuff and it should be run by all the people that like ai shit so much

Yes, so you can better filter the results. There are already too many AI generations that don't have a label, so you get a mix of edited or repeatedly regenerated AI images right next to the first result generations. Generator tags should be done more often.

Does who ever prompted this really need to be known? Like they didn't draw anything, and prompting takes the same skill as putting a puzzle together, but imagine saying when you put a puzzle together you said you made the art in the puzzle
