Description:

Emerald decides that going to bed would be a good idea. He decides to drop off Joyride's keys first. After all she'll need them to go anywhere.

Emerald suddenly realizes that she somehow made it to this room without her keys.

Still it's probably better that he return them. He wants to apologize to Joyride for being in the memory room. As the pair go to Joyride's room and drop the keys off on her nightstand, he realizes that if he wishes to speak with Joyride it might be a good idea to hang out here. She'll probably come back some time tonight, right?

"You want to sleep here?" Ruby says, looking at the spacious bed, "Alright, it looks way more comfortable than your bed."

Ruby falls asleep pretty quickly, but Emerald finds getting to sleep much more difficult. Just too much happened today. Eventually though, sleep and Emerald found each other.

—-

Emerald wakes up sometime later, unsure of the time. It's probably still late at night or early in the morning, because turning over Emerald sees that Ruby is still sleeping.

Joyride appears to not have come back to her room yet.

Emerald lays on his back and just stares at the ceiling a while.

Just… Staring.

What does Emerald do?
