Prince Blueblood and his son Prince Magic Act. Trixie is far off to the right, forgotten.
Prince Blueblood wished to have an heir, hoping that raising a foal would improve his image after the whole Grand Galloping Gala incident. Of course, Blueblood was too high-maintenance to get married or publicly date anypony (not that anypony was looking to date him at all) and only then found a mare desperate enough to bear his child in Trixie. Trixie's magic shows had begun declining in visitors after the Ponyville and Alicorn Amulet fiasco, causing many ponies to shun her. Trixie soon had to sell everything off her flank for the exception of her cape, for only the reason that it was too dirty and torn for anypony to buy it. Trixie met Blueblood while she was picking through the trash near his condo. Despite her gross appearance, Blueblood thought he saw a pretty mare behind that layer of grime and decided she would be the one to do it. Of course, he had to butter her up first, then promising to marry her and let her have a lavish royal lifestyle with him. Trixie, being blinded by desperation and hope, thoughtlessly accepted and was soon impregnated.
After the colt was born, Trixie was swiftly kicked out. Only spending a day in the hospital to birth the unicorn foal, she was the one to put down his name, while Blueblood was waiting at his condo. Blueblood had his guards remove her after she handed over the colt and was threatened with legal action if she dared to approach his property or his son again. Nopony knew that she was the mother due to the nurse being under Blueblood's payroll, in where the nurse put down on paper that the mare who birthed the colt died in foalbirth.
As you can imagine, Blueblood wasn't a good father. In fact, you could say he was no father at all, seeing as mostly his maids and butlers raised him. Magic Act never met and never knew of Trixie's existence or the truth of his mother, which greatly upset him. Blueblood was often seen in public with the colt, but only for public affairs, and every time he seemed like a good father. Magic Act played along, hoping that if he was good he could receive the same treatment at home. He was wrong, of course, and soon began narrowing the spectrum of his emotions to two or three: Anger, Apathy, and Contentment. He's rather the quiet type, only appearing alive onstage to perform stage magic. Magic Act even surpassed his mother in the art, with the help of private mentors and tutors and his natural ability due to the faint, if ever present, royal bloodline.
Magic Act is also seen as very handsome and a viable hoofhold to be a "princess" of sorts. Of course, Magic Act will have no mare to date, nor the occasional stallion. Magic does not seem to have any friends or loved ones, although he secretly does care for a select maid and butler who served as his parents in stead of his real ones.
