Welp, you were wondering when I finally go cocobongo for good and here we are. =D
Hyack-gh-gh-gh!
Not funny!
Good old Kingdom Hearts style realm traveling.
Ok, first of all, September is always horrible for me. Always get sick. I guess health issues plus switching from warm and cozy to cold and wet weather in a few days does that to me. Not that it was a reason for switching to different themes but another Inktober has sneaked upon me out of the blue (Eri's not blue, btw) and I… didn't know what to draw for it. But I want in. Cause I'm brave. And I don't know when to stop. Achoo! Sniff.
Second, I do need some hardcore practice including leaving the comfort zone. It seems I will always have obstacles on my art path but getting it even worse, down to extreme challenges, probably does help me stay in shape. Like ice bucket or defeating a bear in a fist fight one-on-one… I dunno, never tried, why would I…
Third, I wanted to do Goof Troop style for a very long time. I guess it's now or never. I'm TERRIBLE at fluid and dynamic drawings, I don't need to tell you that. So trying this style should be good for my dry concrete brain. I'll try. Maybe fail miserably, I did that before.
Teen Max is a fun character. Preteen Max is ADORABLE! I dunno, maybe it's just me. It was my childhood cartoon (Goof Troop), it took me years of artistic growth to understand and appreciate how amazingly badass it was drawn! Old-school hand-drawn animation, fluid cartoonishly-cartoonish poses and expressions, fun action, nobody does that today anymore. And… gosh, he's a huggable little rascal! __
It blows my mind that not only is that world inhabited by anthropomorphic dogs but they also own dog pets. O_O And cat pets.
I fail ink so I just stick to my trusty pencil. Still, big thanks to Jake Parker for another wonderful prompt list. Alright, let's get the show on the road!
