INCOMING MESSAGE FROM HER ROYAL HIGHNESS
Hi everyone. So, you know the player factions on Helldivers 2. The Chaosdivers, the Blitzdivers, H.A.T.E., all that jazz. Well, while i'm not an HD2 player, i've made stuff for a new faction of rogue helldivers/players: the Ponydivers.
Lore: The birth of the Ponydivers came about during the final push of Operation Swift Disassembly. A squad of Helldivers from four Super Destroyers, the SES God of Justice, the SES Guardian of Democracy, the SES Champion of Family Values, and the SES Blade of Redemption.
Helldivers from these four destroyers had proven their worth during the liberation of Malevelon Creek, and numerous other operations. When the order came, they decided to jump to Tibit, a planet they already had experience with, but the jump control computer aboard the God of Mercy, which led the squad, made an error when performing the FTL jump calculations. The faulty data was passed to the other three jump computers, and when the four ships jumped, they overshot Tibit and went into unexplored space.
While Super Earth categorized these ships and their crews as "missing" or "presumed terminated", they arrived at a new, habitable world. One with E-710 on it. The plan was to go in, steal their E-710 without being noticed, and jump back before anyone realizes they were gone. But once they went planetside and the natives greeted them, what did they discover?
They found a different way! A better way! A way of life that Super Earth would deem "undemocratic", and would try to exterminate at all costs. They could not let this happen. They could not let SEAF ruin Harmony. Harmony is something Super Earth should learn, not destroy.
And so, the Ponydivers rebelled, they neutralized their Democracy Officers, and then went to Spherion, in the Quintus Sector, to build their headquarters. Now, with the Gloom spore cloud, the Automatons dangerously close to Super Earth, and with the Illuminate making themsleves known once more, the Quintus Sector is firmly under Ponydiver control.
Once Super Earth is theirs, the Ponydivers will harmonize their other enemies, the Bugs, the Bots, and the Squids. But for now, preparations continue, and other, smaller operations proceed. But soon, the Magic of Friendship will shine across the galaxy.
Notes: Their primary color is Pink instead of Yellow; instead of Democracy Officers, they have "Harmony Officers"; and if they issue their own MOs, they're called "Alicorn Orders".
