I'm a fan of Camilla d'Errico and her pop surrealism. I've wanted to do something like her work for awhile now, but never really got a feel for it in my sketches, probably because her work really involves color to make it work, and I'm predominantly a linework artist. Well, these markers sure have helped me to go all out and use color.



Second try to get the line work inked, and the first try with the markers. Not bad, not the best, but a good first test. I'll probably do more like this with RD, as well as more melting Pinkies. I think RD with her hair is enough, though her in water would probably work well.



Ideas for others, AJ in a bed of flowers, Fluttershy covered in butterflies, Twi and some magical spell, Rara covered in jewelry and thread. We'll see what comes out.
