This was completed on September 1st, 2024. I set the drawing aside until I finish the other batches of artwork (that were uploaded today), and upload them all together since I like to take my time and not rush my artwork.



How it started


I will copy what I posted on my Instagram on August 10, 2024…


“I had always wanted to draw Fluttershy in a video game called ‘PIKMIN’ where you go out collecting lost pieces to fix your ship so you can go home. There, helping you are cute little creatures called Pikmin. I decided to sketch this and even a turnaround for Fluttershy in a spacesuit that’s powered by magic (helmet is a magic orb and not glass). Throwing away my want to making the outlines as perfect as it can be, and now feeling I can color more at ease, I will try to finish this as quickly as I can, WHILE taking my time with each outline, layer placement, coloring, etc.”



Overall


Last time I worked on this, I stated that I wasn’t sure if I could improve this art piece, and now looking at this drawing before uploading, I believe that is still the case. I know I will improve more later on, as long as I keep up my pace with my artwork. ^w

That’s very hard to say. I even stopped playing my homegirl’s childhood game, which made me draw this. I do love playing it, but like with family, art, gaming, anime, hanging out, and other responsibilities, it’s hard. Perhaps I will pick up playing Pikmin, perhaps I will keep on drawing this as a little series, because I would very much like to, but I have other artwork I would like to focus on. \^w\’\(\\
