So yea, entry for day 9 of EQD's ATG2. Which is to draw a pony from a vidya gaem or some other media. And sitting back I realized something: "I don't play many fucking games".

Really, I don't. At least nothing that's going to be done a hundred times over, or has been done a hundred times over. Sure, I could ponify a TF2 character or dress a canon pony as one, but I can predict that'll be done a bit much. Additionally, there's probably gonna be several Portal-themed ponies, and maybe equally so for Zelda. And I'd venture to hazard a guess someone's going to dare to do COD/Battlefield.

However, I don't think anyone's going to do anything like Total War! Sure, probably as generic as fuck. But that and Crusader Kings are some of the games I've been playing a lot of besides TF2.

So as such, a pony dressed in German, Gothic styled plate armor. I tried to blend the human and horse styles of said armor but in the end the man-style won out. Though some remnants of Gothic Barding remain, particularly on the chest and in the shoulders. Also the fore-head having room for a horn, the decoration around it being mimicked off of a set of Gothic barding I was looking at while doing this. And of course the ears.

Also that crest in the background is a parody of the Holy Roman Empire's imperial banner. I feel I need to do the whole thing in full some day.
