"Huzza sister! We have successfully created a portal to Earth!" Luna cheered joyfully as she emerged from the portal behind her older sister. Celestia smiled "Indeed Luna, I am quite pleased at the results. Now we can establish diplomatic relationships with the world leaders like we have discussed," she said.
Luna nodded happily. Over the past few months they had managed to get into contact with an alien species on another planet though means of magical communication via mirror. After establishing contact with the humans on Earth, Celestia and Luna had made plans with the world leaders to create a portal to Earth so they can formally and officially establish diplomatic relationships with each other and formally reveal themselves to the public. When they had gotten the go ahead from the UN, Celestia and Luna casted the portal to Earth. Only to make a startling discovery once they had stepped though to the other side.
"Ummm, I did not think our new friends would be quite so…small," Luna observed softly, lifting one of her forelegs as a tiny foreign object flew past it. A plane flying thousands of feet up in the air. The passengers inside looked outside the window in awe at the sheer size of the two titanic princesses. "Indeed sister, though at this point it cannot be helped. None of us could have predicted such a vast contrast in scale with one another," Celestia said. Her eyes were looking down at the ground as the princess of the sun began to walk.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
People all over the country had their phones out and pointing skyward in shock as they watched the two titans walk over the landscape. The princesses always had an aerial view of the landscape even if they were to duck their heads as clouds floated past their barrels. Thankfully though, there was little to no damage to their steps. The portal had mitigated that. Should any city, town, or person were too fall underhoof accidently they would feel no pain whatsoever, and would feel perfectly fine as soon as it lifted off of them. Sure there was a lot of shaking as they walked, but overall, no structure or person was damaged or harmed.
In just a few steps Celestia and Luna reached their destination, the city where the UN meeting was taking place. "Hmmmm, what should we do Tia? It's not as if we can fit inside the building," Luna said "The portal was designed to transport us a few steps away from the meeting place for easy access. Had we been the same size as the humans we would have been transported directly inside the building." Celestia was barely listening though. Her sights were set on the tiny city by her hooves, all the residents forced to look up at her gargantuan form. Celestia found herself filed with delight as she looked down at them "These are the humans? So cute!" She thought pleasantly, smiling to herself.
Celestia looked back at Luna with a coy smile "Well, if we cannot fit inside the building for negotiations, then I guess we're just going to have to take the building back with us for negotiations," she giggled. Luna blinked as Celestia removed one of her hoofshoes and reached down, her massive hoof tearing into the earth like it was soft butter. With little effort she tore the entire city out of the ground and held it in her hoof. Celestia looked down at the tiny metropolis, a warm, motherly smile adorning her face. "I shall take them back with me and go over relation negotiations. Lulu, please introduce the guards to our new allies so they can get to know them better," she said.
Luna nodded as they walked back to the portal together. Celestia stepped though and called forth the unit of guards that were in charge of first contact to meet Luna on the other side, while she herself went to her quarters, city in hoof, to begin negotiations. The guard unit, lead by Captain Shining Armor all stepped though, their eyes widening with shock at the tiny landscape around them. "Guards! Listen up!" Luna commanded. The guards all stood at attention as Luna approached them "These are our new allies, the humans of Earth, and as such, I am expecting all of you to treat them with the same amount of care and respect as you would with any pony. While they may be tiny, you should not think any less of them! We shall spend time getting to know them and befriending them as our new friends while Princess Celestia is in the midst of negotiations with their world leaders. Come! Let us go!"
"Yes Ma'am!" The guards saluted. They left their weapons behind in the portal as they, along with Princess Luna made their way around the continent, which was easy for them given their size. People all over pointed up at the sky awestruck as the gargantuan guards and Princess made their way around giving friendly greetings to the populace and talking to them.
Meanwhile, Celestia had made it to her quarters. She opened the door with a quick flick of her magic. Walking inside, she looked down and gave the city a reassuring nuzzle. Her massive fluffy snout descending from the sky and gently rubbed against the tiny populace she held in her mighty grasp. "It's alright little ones," she said gently "This won't talk long." Celestia lit her horn once more and a small petri dish appeared on her desk. Celestia carefully slid the city down into it and took her seat at the desk. People in the city looked up at the sky as the couple thousand mile tall Sun Princess looked down at the coin sized city in front of her. She rested her head on a hoof with a kind smile and spoke, her voice shaking the city as she said "Now then, shall we begin our negotiations My Dear Little Humans?"
