When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack — Season 2 Episode 18 — Lotus Blossom Turns Things Into Darkness

Summary (Part 1): The Mane Six are stuck with fighting one of the two giant brainwashed Spa ponies, which is Lotus Blossom attacking Mumbai.

Three days have passed since the Mane Six lost the battle against Fire Flare, who has joined sides with Daybreaker forever. Now, the six ponies are visiting Mumbai, deciding they should spent a vacation there for a day. They are unaware, however, that Lotus Blossom has been brainwashed by Daybreaker and her evil alicorn team, turning evil in the process.

"Why don't we stay in this city for a day? I wanna have a vacation here!" Rainbow Dash suggests to her friends they spend the rest of the day finding someplace to rest in Mumbai. "Mumbai is the hottest place for vacation every month, every year! We just gotta have some rest here for the night!"

"I'm still a bit frustrated what happened back in Paris three days ago. It was literally embarrassing and also a nightmare still haunting me." Rarity recalls the events occurring three days in France, which she describes as awful. "Fire Flare has betrayed us and decided to help Daybreaker and her team go against us so they can get more victories! How dare her join the dark side!"

Applejack comforts Rarity as she puts her hoof, saying with some kind words, "Now, now, let's not get too angry, alright? The situation's over, Rarity. It's over and finished. End of the story."

Still walking through the streets of Mumbai, the Mane Six see the residents of the city dancing to the groovy music they enjoy for decades, some eating foods, the rest are chatting with each other, especially on phones.

"Wonderful city with wonderful colors!" Pinkie Pie bounces with excitement, as she considers herself very pleased with the celebration of Holi, a holiday which she favors when visiting the real world.

"Boy, this place is hot… I wish I had my sunglasses with me today!" Rainbow Dash realizes the weather in Mumbai is always warm and hot, and she really wanted her shades with her so badly. "I mean, you should compare Mumbai with Cairo! You gotta find some shelter to get out of the hotness, girls!"

"Is there anywhere we can sleep for the entire day without having to worry any bad problems?" Fluttershy asks her friends if they see anything that can keep them out the hot weather outside.

None of the ponies left a reply back, all feeling unsure so far…

With not one pony able to determine where they can stay, Rainbow Dash spots a man dressed in traditional Indian clothes on the other side of the street. She looks both directions and makes sure no vehicle is coming in the way. When she saw no single vehicle driving by, she flies fast as possible in order to talk with the man she spotted.

Rainbow Dash appears right before the man, asking him with a wide grin, "Excuse me, sir. Do you know anywhere me and my friends can stay and sleep in this city for the rest of the day? We're trying to have a vacation in Mumbai and we need your help to have us stay in Mumbai."

"If you wanna spend the night in this city, consider finding a hotel or perhaps find someone who can let you stay in their home. That would work, too." The man said before resuming his walk.

Rainbow goes back to her friends, saying, "He said the only we can stay is if we stay at a hotel or go look for a certain citizen of this city that can let you sleep in their house for the night. What do you girls wanna do, hmm?"

"I don't have any money with us, so let's just go find someone who can let us in their house." Twilight Sparkle responds, preferring the second option being the more easier choice.

"Sounds good." Applejack agrees with Twilight's choice, and so does the rest of the ponies.

Moments later, the ponies have reached a small house. Pinkie Pie knocks on the door, though she doesn't appear to get a response back. She shows the girls towards a window, where a woman is making Indian food for her husband, also inside with her.

Wondering what they should do before knocking the door again, Fluttershy asks her friends while feeling her usual shy self, "Are you sure they'll let us in? What if they say no?"

The wife sees the Mane Six ponies at her door and tells her husband, saying, "Honey, we got company outside."

"Alright, I'll get the door." The husband said as he walks towards the door and then opens it.

The Mane Six are standing right in front of the door just as the man opens it for them. He was surprised that they are even at his house.

"Anything I can do for you six horses?" The man asks the six ponies kindly.

"Yes, me and my friends are looking for someplace to sleep for the night in Mumbai." Rarity replies as she promises the man and his wife that she will behave and be respectful. "We won't cause mishaps, we promise."

"Okay then. Come on in." The man said as he opens the door for the Mane Six, allowing them all inside so they can rest for the night.

Thirty-minutes later, it was 12:07 PM, and the Mane Six are inside the house where the married couple are still making Indian food.

"Who are you making these food for, ma'am?" Pinkie Pie asks the woman.

"Oh, you see, this food I'm making is for us and also for our friends." The wife of the husband replies, reminding the ponies that the precious meals she's making is for her, her husband and also her friends nearby. "This is what I do every month, every year to make sure they have everything they need."

"I see." Pinkie Pie says before she walks towards the couch where Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are seated, the latter pegasus reading a magazine about fashion in India.

Meanwhile, Rarity, Twilight and Applejack are watching TV, seeing a video involving Indian dances. As Rarity feels surprised and amazed looking at the people on the television perform some incredible dance moves, she wishes that she tries those as well.

Rainbow Dash sits next towards Rarity on the left, deciding to join in on the relaxation with the three ponies.

"What's this you girls are watching?" Rainbow Dash asks Rarity.

"Me, Applejack and Twilight are seeing famous people on the screen perform some incredible moves by the people from this country. They're really rocking it, darling." Rarity shows Rainbow Dash some great moves the people of India are performing at a theatre. "I must admit, I really gotta try one of those astonishing moves."

"I think of it, too! I'm in the mood for some dance class!" Applejack agrees in the same manner as Rarity, wanting a shot at performing Indian dance poses.

While everything was looking very calm, it all changed when somebody was outside knocking the door. The husband went towards the door and opened it since his wife was still making the food for their friends. When the door opens up, it is a man in his mid-40s carrying a basketball in his right hand. He was panicking and nearly out of breath.

"You all gotta hide me, please… There's a giant evil pony attacking the city of Mumbai!" The middle-aged man begged the woman and her husband to let him stay inside their house for a while. "Her eyes, they were red, and I saw it. She almost tried to kill me!"

"Hey, you gotta stop panicking, okay? We'll take care of this mess." Twilight Sparkle gives her words the advanced man not to keep freaking out.

"Looks like Daybreaker and her team have turned somebody evil again. Time we get to the bottom of this case and solve it for good this time!" Rainbow Dash and her friends walk out the house and Rarity closes the door with her magic, being the last pony who walked out of the couple's home.

Elsewhere in Mumbai, the citizens have been fleeing and running away as a brainwashed Lotus Blossom, under Daybreaker's dark spell, is causing havoc and is destroying anything in her sights. She stomped and crushed on buildings and vehicles under her hooves. The massive-sized pony walked straightforward and kept targeting at the tinies. So far, she has killed over 6,200 humans during her rampage.

"You never thought an evil spa pony would be showing up, huh?" Lotus Blossom gave the humans an evil smirk before she fired her eye lasers at more buildings, killing anyone inside.

The giant brainwashed spa pony was unstoppable. Lotus Blossom was so powerful, her powers became infinite, meaning nothing could hurt her, and invincible to almost everything. She laughed and watched how helpless the tinies are, knowing they can't escape from her. She could catch up with them so quickly thanks to her huge size.

Military tanks and officers soon stood in the giant evil equine's way, ordering her to stop after they have witnessed the destruction she's caused so far.

The man who lead his squad pulled out his megaphone, saying to the giant brainwashed pony with a warning, "Lotus Blossom, this is your one and only warning: Surrender and leave this city in peace and stop harming these people, you big horse! Do it now, otherwise we'll force you!"

"Like you pathetic, useless tinies can harm me, and those tanks can't hurt me, either. Poor choices you fools are making towards evil giant ponies, as usual…" Lotus Blossom was left with disapproval of the humans making such terrible choices. "You tinies insult me… I shall wipe you all out at once and get rid of you so Daybreaker can be happy with me later. Bye bye!"

"Get down, men!" The leader yelled, telling his men to get down as Lotus Blossom destroyed three of seven military tanks with her eye lasers.

Though the men survived the attack, it wasn't going to last long as the evil spa pony approached them closer with strong hatred, disliking the humans as she knew that she had to kill them under Daybreaker's rules.

"Trying to escape from me, huh? Not on my hooves!" Lotus Blossom laughed evilly before she stomped her hoof to the ground, shaking things loudly. The shake caused the remaining four tanks to fall over. She eventually stomped on one of them as she walked towards the leader and his men, who backed away from her in fear.

"No, wait… We can do anything for us, please. We surrender, okay?" The leader of the military group bends on his knees, hoping the giant brainwashed pony can forgive him and his men.

"Forgive you? Oh, I'm afraid it's too late for that now. You should have thought about that before you stood in my way. Now I'm gonna wipe you all out in a matter of seconds until you'll all turned into nothing but ashes!" Lotus Blossom said with anger, having her patience being tested by the tinies.

"Run!" The leader said, getting up and run away from Dark Lotus Blossom.

Unfortunately, this easily gave Dark Lotus Blossom a chance in killing the the leader and all his men on his military team when they turned away from her. She began firing her eye lasers at the fleeing men and killed all of them in one shot. She watches them collapse to the ground, looking too helpless to move at all.

"Stay dead…!" Lotus Blossom told the the tinies she just killed before she resumed her walk, stomping through the city and continue causing havoc all over Mumbai.

The Mane Six have caught up to the scene and they have just witnessed what they saw, knowing that it was Lotus Blossom that wiped out the entire men. They stare at her plot as she continues stomping the ground with powerful steps that bounced things into one place. She also crushed buildings and vehicles under her massive hooves.

"There she is! It's her! She's the one who's being controlled by Daybreaker!" Rarity shows her friends that one of the spa ponies is huge and is evil, terrorizing the humans. "Can you believe Lotus Blossom murdered all of the poor tinies here?" She asked.

"That's not just all. Look! She even left her hoofprint on one of these tanks she trampled on." Fluttershy walks towards a destroyed military tank that Lotus Blossom stomped under her hooves.

With no time to waste, Twilight Sparkle and her friends know they must hurry and stop the brainwashed spa pony from destroying Mumbai and free her from Daybreaker's mind control, which is turning her evil and make her become a villain as well.

Back with Lotus Blossom, she kept wrecking things in her path and let out a huge Godzilla-like roar, scaring everyone, who were afraid of her even more. She was in the mood to kill humans so she can be satisfied even more with her destruction.

"No more humans! Not one human shall stay alive as long as I wipe out every single one of you!" Lotus Blossom turns her head to the left, firing eye lasers at buildings in that destruction, killing more people inside. "The more I kill, the more happy I will be. With the darkness in my heart, I will show no remorse!"

A man inside his car looked up and saw the enormous-sized spa pony of darkness coming more closer with each and every stomping sound that occurred, which grew louder. When she stopped herself, she looked at him, spotting him inside his car while he kept staring at her.

The man gasped in horror and tried to get his car to move, but unfortunately, it wasn't working for some reason. And then, Lotus Blossom fired her eye lasers at his cars, killing him as his car caught fire, burning him alive in the process.

Only thing Lotus Blossom would want is just seeing the world burn. "Some mares just want to watch the world burn." She said as she saw the fires in her red eyes, laughing in a sinister manner.

Everything was going fine, until the Mane Six interfered, preventing Lotus Blossom from going any further, angering her.

"Okay, Lotus Blossom! You better stop what you're doing because we already know you're doing favors for Daybreaker and her alicorn friends!" Rarity suggested that the spa pony refrains from killing the people and hurting them any more. "We're not gonna let one spa pony, especially a brainwashed, evil one, get away with destroying Mumbai!"

"Step aside, or I'll stomp on you and your friends like a pancake if you don't move!" Lotus Blossom threatened the Mane Six to stay out of her way before she will do things the hard way.

"The darkness within her is growing so quickly, she's just getting more powerful, not to mention she has limitless power when she's a giant, with hatred and darkness combined together. "She just won't listen. She won't snap out of it! She's gonna defend us against us for sure!"

"Alright, if you won't listen, guess we gotta do it by force!" Rainbow Dash challenged the giant mind-controlled spa pony into a fight.

"Time for you little ponies to understand what it means once you get a taste of my power, the power of a dark spa pony!" Dark Lotus Blossom snarled at the Mane Six with hatred, leaving herself with no choice except fight her enemies and make sure that they were defeated in the end.

Twilight and Rainbow began the first attack, the former using a kick, followed by the latter who encountered with a punch. Nevertheless, Lotus Blossom still had stronger attacks of her own, striking Rainbow Dash back, sending her flying back. She then slammed Twilight down with one powerful kick.

Pinkie Pie reveals her party cannon and then fires a bomb from the cannon, aiming directly at Lotus Blossom. The giant brainwashed spa pony kicked it hard, going back in the direction towards Pinkie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack. Luckily enough, Rarity caught the bomb with her magic in time.

Unbeknownst to the ponies, however, Lotus Blossom was carrying something behind her back that would leave the rest off guard.

"Alright, how about I turn the sky into darkness?" The spa pony revealed a bottle filled with darkness inside, which was a reddish color. She took the top off of the bottle and the unleashed the darkness coming from the bottle, which soon went up into the sky, changing the sky into red. This left everyone shocked when the sky became more darker than usual.

"No way!" The Mane Six react in shock upon seeing the sky changing color thanks to the bottle Lotus Blossom had carried with her. They have never seen a color like that before.

The spa pony laughed and made an explanation to the citizens and Twilight Sparkle and her friends about how the darkness inside the bottle could change the sky, "You see, the darkness coming from the thing I was holding could be taken up into the air, which can change the sky from blue or purple into a red color, leaving you all in the world filled with darkness and evil! The only way it can be reverted back is if you can defeat both me and Aloe, who is somewhere else and I can't tell you where she is!"

"Wait a minute… Daybreaker has turned your sister evil, too? Guess we better deal with her after we get Lotus Blossom back to her regular self first then." Rarity now has figured out that Lotus Blossom was not just the only spa pony who has been turned into a villain by Daybreaker and her team.

"Sadly, you'll never find my sister, and I'm not revealing the location of Aloe's whereabouts unless you six ponies can defeat me in battle!" Lotus Blossom refuses to give up and promises the Mane Six that she will win and make sure she leaves Daybreaker and the rest happy. "Victory will be for us evil giants once and for all!" She cackles loudly in an evil manner.

"Not if we got anything to say about it!" Applejack yelled back, charging at the brainwashed spa pony with her lasso.

Lotus Blossom uses her eye lasers to destroy the lasso Applejack was carrying with her. She then jumped high in the air, shaking the ground loudly like a super shockwave, bouncing the Mane Six and the others, and caused them to fall into the ground.

Realizing there's no escape, only thing that Twilight and her friends could do was just fight Lotus Blossom to break her free from the darkness and evil controlling her heart.

"She's one tough spa pony, I'll tell you all that. She's not holding back, and she's definitely got the power within her in destroying us in one blast. We better think of something fast before we end up losing again." Rainbow Dash reminds her friends that they have to find a way to become victorious, otherwise they will end up being the losers just like last time.

"Right, everypony! Let's work together and bring her back on the good side again!" Twilight Sparkle told her friends as they all stay by each other's side and use whatever strength inside them in order to win, freeing Lotus Blossom in the end.

Holding each other's hooves, the Mane Six felt the power connecting into one other, carrying them into the air. Lotus Blossom was shocked upon feeling the glowing aura surrounding the six ponies, which is increasing all of their powers into one.

"We can defeat you with all of our strength combined together!" The Mane Six said in unison, as they all feel their power growing more stronger. "We've did this before with King Sombra, and then Tirek, Cozy Glow and Chrysalis, and now we'll do the same to you!"

"Go on, do whatever you please. It won't work on evil giants such as myself." Lotus Blossom said in a snooty manner, not really caring how much the Mane Six can use have combined power in order to defeat and break free from the evil that's been taking over her this entire time since.

"You ask for it!" Fluttershy warned Lotus Blossom that her power, which is combining with her friends' powers, will defeat the giant spa pony and turn her good again.

Using the same technique they have used before on four villains, they unleashed all the energy from themselves, hitting Lotus Blossom, striking her in the stomach, causing her to collapse and fall to the ground.

The Mane Six feel happy that they have defeated Lotus Blossom, and they all see her shrinking and reverting back to her normal size. Applejack and the gang go check in on her to make sure she is redeemed. Pinkie and Fluttershy carefully pick her back up, having her stand on all four hooves again. Lotus Blossom still couldn't feel herself doing anything.

Rarity walks towards the spa pony asking, "Are you still there, Lotus Blossom? Could you wake up and open your eyes for us?"

When Lotus Blossom opened up her eyes again, they have returned to its original blue color, therefore she has been reformed and the evil and darkness is no longer inside her. The Mane Six cheered in happiness seeing that Lotus Blossom is back on the good side.

"What's going on?" Lotus Blossom wondered while still feeling a bit confused how she is seeing the city destroyed. "What happened to the city?"

"It was you who caused the destruction, when you were gigantic and evil, and all that." Fluttershy explains the reason to the spa pony about who was responsible for attacking Mumbai. "Those evil alicorns turned you evil and you couldn't control yourself, letting the darkness and evil take over and it made you hate everyone you saw, especially us in particular. At least we have redeemed you."

"I see. I feel so ashamed of myself…" Lotus Blossom took responsibility and blamed herself for destroying Mumbai, looking so upset with her own self. "I let Daybreaker and her alicorn team turn me and Aloe evil so easily and then I couldn't remember anything aside from attacking the humans."

Rarity comforts Lotus, saying with kindness, "Don't feel bad, darling. Every mistake can be fixed in the process. We have you back on our side."

"Now do you wanna explain where Aloe is, please?" Applejack asks Lotus Blossom about Aloe.

"She's in Tokyo. They have turned her evil and she became a giant as well. We have to save my sister and bring her back on the good side before I end up losing her forever." Lotus Blossom finally reveals to the Mane Six that her sister is in Japan, attacking the country's capital.

Twilight and her five pony friends all agree to help Lotus Blossom save her sister and stop Aloe from destroying Tokyo.
