Born to Silly

Description:

Hey everyone,

Well, it’s been a long time coming, but I felt it was time to give my first Lamia-pony, Sereath, a friend of the same species- so please welcome Amara!

Amara, just like her friend Sereath, is another friendly and caring noodle, but unlike Sereath who was turned to stone, has been openly active in Equestrian lands and beyond for millennia. When she met Sereath, she was living in Klugetown- just trying to help out where she could.

Amara is well acquainted with Capper, and while initially liking him, she eventually grew to distrust and subseqently avoid him entirely for reasons that she, even now, doesn’t fully understand. Others would say that he failed the vibe check.

Upon meeting Sereath, and her Master, Amara immediately decided to abandon her boring life in Klugetown and join them on their adventures and travels.

She is smaller, faster and considerably more adventurous than Sereath, and while of a similar phenotype, there are numerous physical differences to be found between them. For instance, Amara is warm-blooded and does not have the cat-like pupils of her erstwhile “sister,” and neither does she have fangs. All in all, her upper body has more in common with a pony than anything else.

Additionally, Amara’s senses are nowhere near as sensitive as those possessed by Sereath. This is to the degree that her senses are dulled to the point of those belonging to an average human rather than that of even an earth pony. Not that any of this bothers Amara in the slightest of course.

She came to terms with what she was back in the depths of time, and since those days enshrouded in the impenetrable mists of yore, she had yearned to meet another of her kind, and to help those around her in whatever manner she could.

It goes without saying that Amara already looks up to Sereath as her true sister, and the two can often be found cuddling and playing games with each other. It is not unusual to find the pair snuggling with their tails entwined, so strong is their sisterly bond.

This affection is also freely given to Sereath’s master, with whom she has built an equally strong bond.

It is noted that despite how affectionate she can be with those that she cares about, this is not something that she shares with just anyone. You would have to gain her trust and friendship before you would garner any physical affection from her.

Amara, though she has been around for a very long time, has absolutely no memory of her parents or any possible origin for her existence whatsoever, and in general, barely remembers anything that happened prior to Luna’s banishment. However, Amara tends to live in the here and now rather than thinking about the past, caring little about her origins.

This noodle-horse, while nominally heterosexual, has recently shown little interest in romance or anything further than physical affection, though this may change in the future if somepony/someone catches her eye. What IS known is that she is a gentle, conscientious and dedicated partner who would metaphorically move mountains for the one who earns her love.
