Welcome to another instalment of the "Random Character Art " series, wherein I redesign a random character from my roster that has never been depicted here before- and now it is the turn of none other than the inimitable Sunset Symphony!
This was another total redesign, and might as well be a fully new character considering that the only thing I didn't change in some way was her eyes. I repeat, everything APART from her eyes is new, including a species swap from unicorn to earth pony.
This mare is 53 years old and an accomplished multi-discipline musician/songwriter originally from Baltimare, and now taking an early pseudo-retirement at her villa just on the edge of Dazzledell Hollow.
Smart, witty, eloquent, and an absolute prodigy with many musical instruments, she is surprisingly humble and down-to-earth for somepony as wealthy as she has become. She is most certainly not one to brag or lord her wealth or fame over anypony and openly despises those who do.
Thus, as prolific as her music actually is in Equestria, even with her work being publicly lauded by ALL of the Equestrian Princesses, she remains in a state of persona-non-grata with much of the other pony nobility within the nation.
This may or may not have something to do with certain lyrical content in a certain song she wrote for an up-and-coming singer, that while it does not call out the nobility for their excesses directly, it was considered incredibly accusatory and inflammatory- directly correlating with a sharp rise in anti-nobility sentiment within the Equestrian youth in particular after that song was released.
Physically, she is of average size and weight for an earth pony mare and is, thus far, in absolutely perfect health with no issues, disabilities, or chronic conditions whatsoever. She has also aged rather gracefully, and still looks, and more importantly, acts like a mare half her age.
Living a life of leisure in the sleepy town of Dazzledell Hollow, she can mostly be found socialising and spending with her besties- and she loves to make new friends and learn of their vastly differing languages and cultures.
When it comes to more personal matters, Sunset Symphony is single and pansexual. Additionally, species poses no issue for her when considering a potential partner. She is looking to permanently fill that gap in her metaphorical resumé, and is keeping an eye out for anyone who feels right to her.
At her age, she can not have children of her own now, but as somepony that adores children, she is willing to adopt children with the right suitor.
