Our first painted tribute to the great Zipp Storm, our favorite character from MLPG5. She is so smart and cool! We watched it on 9/24 and my 7 yo daughter, Candy Light, has been having a blast with her ever since. She got the Zipp doll (see below) the night of the movie, and they have been inseparable. She calls Zipp her "sister", it is so cute.

Below is the WIP: you can see that Candy Light painted the background (on cardboard), as her two best toys (Aurorka and Zipp) looked on. Then I traced the outline from the movie scene where she is propelled up by the fan (great scene)! Then Candy light actually did all of the painting except the eyes (she usually does about half, but she is getting older so more focused). Then I outlined and shaded, and we both added the "sparkles" or "dust" that is scattered around the painting.
