A year ago today, I posted the first page of the Canterlot Academy of Music. I had some ideas about what story I wanted to tell, how I would answer questions, and how things would develop over time. I wasn’t sure how long it would last, but the ride was the reason.


Over the last year, I have learned much. The pacing of the story, my abilities to deliver, the development and nature of the characters were all against my expectations, and I have found it easier to drift with the tide.

It would be easier to quit, certainly. But the will to see this story done, and more importantly, the support of you guys keeps be going. Knowing that I make your day better is worth the time and effort, worth the brainstorming, worth finding new songs to link. Thank you, readers, for keeping the CAoM strong, and here’s to year(s) to come.
