Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've been posting. Mostly because I've got a lot of projects going on at the moment, as I do my time for just pony stuff dwindles. But I'll try to keep this side of things alive whenever and however I can, and to start with I'd like to ease back into posting here with a nice little reference for a custom OC I had made from a sale. :)


The concept was that the artist offered several different brainstormed ideas and concepts, and then from that she would make a custom pony OC for whoever bought it. And I decided to be a bit novel with my idea, instead of just asking for a pony who plays a brass piano or something, I really decided to get creative and come up with an OC that really stands out among my roster.


So introducing: Oratorio Libretto who was once a young flesh and blood earth pony, a scion of a noble house in Canterlot. Through some various magical manipulation, his soul ended up bound to an immaculately crafted porcelain-shell, clockwork-doll replica of himself. Thankfully, the artist was willing to include the important details about his story and his personality on the main reference sheet itself, so feel free to read all about him at your own leisure.


I decided to use him as a prototype for another character I've got cooking in the works, who is based on a similar idea, albeit he was made a clockwork doll out of love rather then deceit. I should hopefully got around to it soon…one day.
