Story — This Is Not the Flurry Heart We Know

Summary: Future Flurry Heart visits the present where she meets her parents and Twilight Sparkle at the Crystal Empire.

Narrator: "It was a regular day at the Crystal Empire. Outside, the citizens have been talking with each other all morning and doing some other random things. Things looked like it was all normal, until suddenly, a portal just appeared out of nowhere."

(Portal magically appears in the middle of the streets)

Narrator: "Some of the ponies look confused on why the portal is showing up at a time like this. Unbeknownst to them, a pony came out of the portal, ending up in the present day of the Crystal Empire. This pony is an alicorn, perhaps a princess who is from the far future. Appearing right before all the ponies around her, she slowly spreads her wings out."

Fleur de Verre: "Who is that? I've never seen somepony like her before… No, is she?"

Autumn Gem: "No way…"

Future Flurry Heart: (opens her eyes, looking directly at the citizens) "Greetings, my friends. I'm Princess Flurry Heart from 20 years of the future. I know this may sound confusing, but I'm from a future timeline where I rule the Crystal Empire in my parents' place. It is quite a pleasure to come to the present and see what it is really like visiting this beautiful town. I really would like to stay with you all. Is that okay?"

Fleur de Verre: "Sure, we're happy to have you with us, your majesty… I mean, your highness!"

Amber Laurel: "I didn't think I'd meet another Flurry Heart. You're like, so tall, and very beautiful…!"

Future Flurry Heart: "It's never too late to say you can't see another Flurry Heart like myself, one who's very tall and more powerful in comparison with the one you knew before."

Narrator: "Soon the citizens became interested in the alicorn who rules the Crystal Empire in the future timeline. They were all happy to let her stay for a while because they have earned her their respect and attention. Meanwhile, at the castle, Twilight Sparkle was with Princess Cadance, along with the Flurry Heart from the present, who's still an infant. Twilight was planning to stay with her sister-in-law for one night only."

Twilight Sparkle: "And I just arrived here only twelve minutes after I got off of the train. Cadance, I'm proud to be spend the night with you, here at the Crystal Empire."

Princess Cadance: "That is very nice to hear. I've always wanted you to stay for a night with me. After all, Shining Armor told me yesterday that you would be excited to have spent the entire day with me, Flurry Heart and him. I'm still waiting to get my next spa treatment this Thursday. I had originally scheduled it for Friday, but they pushed it one day early because me and Shining Armor have to attend the Crystal Faire the day after Thursday."

Twilight Sparkle: "Today's Tuesday, right?"

Princess Cadance: "Yes, of course."

(door opens)

Shining Armor: "Cadance, Twilight, you gotta come outside! There's a new alicorn in town and she's getting the attention from all the residents. They say she's just as tall as you!"

Princess Cadance: "Wait a minute… Tall as I am? (sighs) This must be some joke, Shining Armor."

Shining Armor: "No, no, no. I'm not joking, this is for real! You gotta meet her! I just saw her talking with the citizens and I felt like I bring you the news and tell you both that you should meet her. She would be very excited to see you both. She's so familiar."

Twilight Sparkle: "I'm getting a bit worried over who this new alicorn is, big brother."

Shining Armor: "Don't be worried. You'll be surprised once you meet her, I promise. She is someone you recognize."

(cheering)

Narrator: "The residents continue hanging out with the Flurry Heart coming from the future when all of a sudden, Shining Armor has come back outside with his sister and his wife so they he can introduce them to the Flurry Heart from 20 years of the future."

"Shining Armor: "See? She's right there!"

Princess Cadance and Twilight Sparkle: (gasps)

Twilight Sparkle: "I don't believe it! Is that actually who I think it is…?"

Princess Cadance: "Whoa! She's like about the the same height as I am! She has a crown, and wears royal stuff, too! That has to be…"

(Future Flurry Heart turns her head around, hearing voices behind her)

Future Flurry Heart: "Um, could you excuse me for a second? We have some visitors that have heard of me showing up today. I must be grabbing attention for them as well. I'm so happy to see them too!"

Narrator: "The much grown-up Flurry Heart walks towards Twilight Sparkle, Princess Cadance and Shining Armor with a happy expression. She feels very honored to meet her parents from the present timeline, and also her aunt, Twilight Sparkle."

Princess Cadance: "Who are you?"

Future Flurry Heart: "I'm your daughter, Flurry Heart, from the future timeline where I am the ruler of the Crystal Castle! My, you two are different from the ones in my timeline."

Twilight Sparkle: (to Shining Armor) "I'm telling you, she's taller than me and tall as my sister-in-law and also you!"

(Princess Cadance and Future Flurry Heart hug each other back with happiness)

Shining Armor: "It is an honor to meet you, Flurry Heart! Say, seeing you from the future and you end up in the present is like a real blast! You have grown into a lovely, beautiful mare as much as my wife is! You really have saved the Crystal Empire in your timeline after we have retired, I guess… I'm so proud of you, my beloved daughter. I just don't know what to say."

Princess Cadance: (to Twilight Sparkle) "I can't she my daughter from the future is the same height as I am. Pretty funny, and weird at the same time…"

Twilight Sparkle: (laughs)

Future Flurry Heart: "Mind if you take me to the Crystal Castle? I'd like to see what it's like inside."

Shining Armor: "Sure thing, your highness."

Narrator: "The three ponies head back to the castle as the Flurry Heart from the future comes along with the trio. Once they enter, Flurry Heart is excited to see how the castle looks like in comparison to the one seen in the future."

Future Flurry Heart: "Wow, this castle is beautiful. It's just a shame this is not like the one in the timeline I'm from."

Twilight Sparkle: "Hmm? How come?"

Future Flurry Heart: "You see, in the future where I come from, the castle is much bigger and has been updated ever since I've been the ruler in my parents' place."

Twilight Sparkle: "I wonder what my future self is like." (to Future Flurry Heart) "Have you interacted with my future self?"

Future Flurry Heart: "Why, yes, of course. I've met your future counterpart a few times. And in the future, you are the ruler of Canterlot. She's just about the same height as Princess Celestia, much like how I would be compared with the Princess Cadance in this timeline. A coincidence, wouldn't you say?"

Twilight Sparkle: "I definitely would gotta agree with you on that one. Things never get old, does it?"

(Flurry Heart enters the room, seeing her future self talking with her parents and her aunt)

Future Flurry Heart: "Oh? Who's that little one flying over there? She looks familiar."

Princess Cadance: "That's you as an infant. She's much like you, but smaller. It seems she's excited to see you here. Two Flurry Hearts from two different timelines… Oh, I never thought this day would happen up until this day."

Shining Armor: "I love it when I see one pony from two timelines interacting with each other. It makes my day even more happy and more better."

(Future Flurry Heart holds Flurry Heart in her hooves, feeling happy)

Future Flurry Heart: "My younger self. I'm you from 20 years of the future. I've been looking forward to meeting you. This is the first time I've ever met a baby pony in my entire life. You are so adorable for a baby pony."

Twilight Sparkle: "Believe it or not, you're still adorable as a grown mare and as a baby."

Princess Cadance: "Flurry Heart, I always will love you, no matter how big or small you really are. You will always be important to me and Shining Armor, and also Twilight Sparkle."

Shining Armor: "You are one pony from the future I want to remember forever."

Future Flurry Heart: "Thank you, father, mother. I will never forget about you both, and also my aunt from this timeline. I do like the present as much as I like the future."

(Few hours later, sunset arrives)

Twilight Sparkle: "We've met for some hours, but I guess it's time we have to say 'goodbye' to each other until we meet again someday. Thanks for seeing us, my adult niece."

Future Flurry Heart: "You are quite welcome. I will return. I always will see you again next time." (to Shining Armor and Princess Cadance) "Oh, and also, if you two ever wish to come to my timeline and see what Equestria is like, just bring Twilight Sparkle along with you and she take you into a portal that take you three in the future where I'm from you'll might be surprised. Things have changed a lot since then."

Shining Armor: "We will. That's a promise."

Princess Cadance: "Until then, goodbye, my beloved future daughter."

Future Flurry Heart: "Goodbye to all three of you! And goodbye to the citizens, too! It has been so fun seeing you all today, but I must head back to my world."

(The portal opens and Future Flurry Heart returns to her own timeline, the portal closes afterwards)

Twilight Sparkle: "I'm telling you, it was fun seeing Flurry Heart from the future! She was like a true princess with a touch of heart shaped like a crystal. She is one pony we definitely should meet again."

Shining Armor: "Good thing we still have baby Flurry Heart with us still. We have to keep her."

Princess Cadance: "Yes, and we have to visit Ponyville next week, and we'll be taking Flurry Heart when the time arrives."

Twilight Sparkle: "You know, when I see the Flurry Heart from the very far future again, I'd like to introduce her to my friends living in Ponyville. They will be surprised once they get to know her! She'll be happy seeing them, too!"

Shining Armor, Princess Cadance and Twilight Sparkle: (laughing altogether)

Narrator: "While the three have plans for the rest of the day, the three would still remember meeting Flurry Heart coming from the timeline where she rules the Crystal Empire. She also wants to return to the present timeline to see her aunt and her friends in Ponyville as well, which will happen another day."
