A voice made Street snap back to reality. He looked up just to meet the pink pony from earlier. Her gaze was soft, compared to the intense look she wore before.
Street shook his head quietly. Owning up to his mistakes only ever gave ponies more ammunition to go after him. He wasn’t about to make that mistake again. “First time we’ve seen,” he lied.
“Really?” Pinkie tilted her head. “Because I totally remember you from Manehattan. You had a super cool pouch that I really, really wanted!”
She knows. She knows.
A nod formed on his throat. It was only a matter of time where Pinkie would decide to enact revenge on him. Street closed his eyes shut, bracing for whatever was next. After all, that’s what everyone did.
Except, nothing happened.
He opened one eye, only to see that Pinkie still wore her same expression. Not with any hint of malice or anger… just something that could only be described as innocence. Want a cupcake? Pinkie pulled out a cupcake from seemingly thin air, smiling dorkily.
Street blinked. She was still being kind, kind towards a pony that took advantage of said kindness.
“You don’t like strawberry?” Pinkie asked. “I got mint, ultra rainbow deluxe and even pickle flavor!” She said, stacking up more cupcakes on her hoof. Street stared at her, unsure of what to reply. What would somepony reasonably do in a situation like this?
