One: I can’t get all of them to her and two: if she were to directly answer them all then then things would take even longer, wow you guys ask some weird things sometimes…Keep it up :D
Sometimes, though, incidents do seem to occur that address your queries well enough, and that’s where I come in to drop them in where is best appropriate (Welcome to askblog 101 :P) In this case, Equestrian power sources…
Now, I hope this isn’t too patronising or anything, but in case you hadn’t noticed, Equestria runs on magic…shocker, I know.
All our electronics have some form of magical-based power source. These can usually be charged up either by means of a magical well-spring (literal magical pools) or a magic user. Natural sources like the sun, wind, fossil fuels, (Where the burning of coal or wood releases any locked in magic within the carbon) and other means of gaining magical energy can be utilised for city and country-wide energy-generation. Lastly there are certain kinds of minerals or gemstones that either radiate magic or can be used to store or focus magic.
There are several sources of these crystals and gems in the world. Some in Equestria, others (and arguably some of the finest) from beyond our borders. But the return of the Crystal Empire has certainly shaken these markets up and given rise to a whole host of new technological marvels once the Imperial Archivists started re-reading their libraries… I have them to thank, in a way, because if a certain somepony hadn’t stumbled across something while indulging their bookwormish tendancies I doubt I’d be talking to you in the way that I am.
Furthermore, as everypony knows now, Magic can be directed and focused by feelings of harmony: the ‘appy thoughts’ that Buckler was referring to. In this case, however, it seems the crystal batteries don’t feel very inclined towards being cheered up.
