#### [RQ] 'You Know It to Be True'

It was that time of the year again, midterms! While the other classes had their usual exams, Canterlot High School's Art Program had a different test in mind. The teacher had assigned the class into teams of two, which lead to the unlikely partnership of Trixie Lulamoon and Octavia Melody. The assignment was very simple: each team was to pick a specific theme and create a picture collage based around it. Despite their differences, Trixie and Octavia agreed to work together on the assignment.

After looking through various yearbooks and previous collages that were made, the two of them struggled to find a theme that they could use, one that hadn't been done a million times over. It was then that Octavia, having gone through last year's yearbook, came up with the perfect theme: Parents and Children. It was something that no one had ever done before and would no doubt get them a passing grade in originality.

One by one, Trixie approached various students and set up a time to have their pictures taken with their parents, whereas Octavia took each picture, capturing them perfectly. As they went through each student, Octavia knew it wouldn't be complete if she didn't get a picture of her closest friend, Vinyl Scratch. It also helped that she had never met her parents, thus making this the perfect excuse to finally introduce herself to them.

When it came time to take the picture, the two of them were terrified and stunned when they saw the dark, shadowy figure that Vinyl called her father. What scared them the most was the rumors that had been circulating around the school as of late, the whispers of a dark, ruthless "Sith Lord" that was known as "the most powerful being in the universe". All this time, these rumors were dismissed, looked at as just another magical mishap that Sunset Shimmer and her friends would take care of in no time. Could this masked figure that towered over Vinyl be the one these rumors spoke of?

Those thoughts stirred in the hearts and minds of Trixie and Octavia, the two of them staring down the two as the latter tried to find her nerve to take the picture. The only sound that echoed in the room was the repetitive, mechanical, raspy breathing of Vinyl's father, Darth Vader.

Now, this was very inspired! Not only was the idea very original and solid, but it marks the second time that someone has asked me to make something from the Star Wars universe. I certainly hope I did the picture the justice it rightly deserves.

Also, the background colors are also symbolic!
