So, I've had a very busy few weeks, my irl Horse has been moved an hour and a half closer to me, so I've been seeing him everyday after work. Only thing left to sort is moving my job closer to home so I'm not commuting 1hour and 15minutes both ways. I'm a UK girly so 1.15hrs is a long journey for us😅

Continuing in the vain of retro ponies, this is Moon dancer and Twilight as they appear in gen 1. Having said that, I have tweaked designs slightly and added a bit of purple to Moon dancers design like gen 4 did and altered Twilights Design as well. I did at first think that maybe this is Twilight Velvet but I now like to think that Moonie and this Twilight are of relation to her like parents maybe?

OG Twilight is a sturdy mare with split hooves and a lion-like tail, she also has thicker and more course feather (Hoof Floof), where as Moonie is a bit more lithe and has a standard tail. Moonie does have feather but its more silky and finer than Twilights. Another little HC of mine is that older generations of ponies have more 'simplistic' Cutie marks that aren't as niche or specialised as later generations of ponies. Furthermore, I like to imagine that these older gen ponies lived in a social structure much more like our horses do and were more nomadic and herd oriented than what we see in gen 4 where they are living in houses and cooking ect.
