“Dang! We were lookin’ good last night!” Apple Bloom shouted aloud as she fell back onto the grass beside Scootaloo, who in turn was laying right next to Sweetie Belle. “Good thing my sis let me fix up that old dress of hers,” she added, tilting her phone for her friends to see.

“I’m just glad I was able to convince my aunts to let me cut my hair like this,” Scootaloo ran her fingers through her tuft of hair with a light smirk.

“Wait, your aunts let you pierce your ears like that? But they wouldn’t let you cut your hair super short?” Sweetie Belle questioned as she leaned in slightly for a closer look at her friend’s piercings.

“More like I had them pierced before I asked,” she replied back before all three girls burst into laughter. “I guess the haircut didn’t seem so bad after that.”

“Well, it made for a pretty cool prom pic, even if you looked like a walkin’ cliché,” the young country girl teased before Scootaloo playfully punched her arm.

But Sweetie couldn’t help but scoff. “You both looked cool. But I don’t know. I looked pretty awkward there. I just get too shy when it comes to taking selfies,” she shrugged.

“Shy? Ain’t you supposed to be a theater kid?”
