The sun coming up through the window with the goofy face got me.

I am told it is an acquired taste. It is made out of byproducts from the manufacture of beer, used-up yeast and so on. Supposedly if you aren't raised from infancy eating it, you will find it foul-tasting and inedible. Even Australians may eat it but only in tiny amounts. If you look for nutrition information you find that the assumed serving size is usually about five grams, which is less than a teaspoon. It's also extremely salty and that serving contains about 7% of your daily requirement of sodium.

If nobody liked it, they would stop making it, Right? However, while I have occasionally been curious, after a bit of research I decided it was probably not something I'd enjoy.
