Emerald throws out some ideas, such as water, glass, various crystals, certain elements, air, chameleons, mirrors, and ghosts.
"All great guesses! Though only certain kinds of those things make up the potion we are going to do." Joyride says.
She then lights up her horn and a large pot flies from the back of the room towards them. It lands in front of them and the Unicorn zaps the bottom of it, causing a hearty fire to form. At the same time a table with wheels creaks it's way forward. On top of the table is a large container with some sort of rod sticking out. She then floats down jars from the packed shelves. Most of the jars appear to be empty, but Emerald definitely sees what appears to be a giant eyeball with a clouded lens and one that looks like its' filled with shadow.
"Sometimes the ingredients have to go into the pot in a certain order, but luckily none of these are particularly volatile, so we should be fine." Joyride says, popping the tops of all the jars at once and throwing their contents into the pot.
Emerald looks in and notices that it appears quite empty. Joyride shoos him away and then pulls the stick out of the container. It is a large spoon, and the bottom of it is a strange silvery color, which Joyride quickly wipes off with a towel. Seeing Emerald's puzzled look at the stick she says, "When you do true alchemy you have to use implements that have been infused with raw magical power, which it imparts onto the potion. That involves letting them sit in liquids that are intrinsically magical. In this case dragon blood."
"D-dragon…? Y-you didn't…"
"Hey now, I just stole this from a blood bank. I don't generally go around slaying dragons." She says, putting the spoon in the pot and stirring.
Joyride sits there stirring. Perhaps now would be a good time to ask a question.
