So this picture came to me in a dream.

I mean that literally. The other night I had a really amazing dream where a lot of things happened, and this was one of them.

(I think I have a waifu, guys. This could be a serious problem).

At any rate; Ms. Vinyl Scratch is our first SFM render for 2016 (happy new year). Based on her outfit and the handcuffs she's got on her finger, I'd say she's ready for a fun night.

Tried out a couple new things with this render. One was a new model for Vinyl using the Sandra model. I know I've already built one of her, but to be honest I'm not that fond of that model anymore, or of the other pre-built model using the Soria figure for that matter. So I did a quick reskin of Sandra and here we are.

In addition I tried out a couple new tricks in terms of lighting, namely by editing the VTF for Sandra to use the light values that are defined for the pony model of Vinyl. The end result has the modified texture match up very well with Vinyl's base texture, with little to no need of tweaking the texture or the lighting. This is pretty significant and will be a big help in future renders.

I also used GIMP for post-render touchup work. Some liberal application of the blur tool to really fine tune the pic. I'm quite honestly amazed at how well it works.

Also in case you were wondering about the title: I was listening to the Whitewash remix of Absurd by Fluke while making this.
