Emerald decides to go to bed.

He had a hard time sleeping that night. He couldn't help but think about the coming attack on the other ship. He thought of Bo and Joyride. What would happen if they got hurt? or worse… killed.

He turned in bed and looked at the sleeping form of Ruby. What would happen to her?

The thought scared him. He had been alone for so long and the thought of losing his friends… it was something he didn't want to contemplate.

Tomorrow… tomorrow he knew what he had to do…
