Emerald boils up his corn and takes a bite, but it's not any better or worse than when Greg made it before. He shrugs and finishes up two cobs of it.

He then makes his way over to the dilapidated tower to see Sepulcher. Emerald notices that he doesn't see any undead along the way. Perhaps they are sleeping like Gregarious was? Maybe they don't like the sun?

With some trouble Emerald lifts the trapdoor leading into the basement of the tower. He walks down the flight of stairs and sees Lady Elegance laying down near the doorway, almost like a loyal dog. He greets her hello and then heads inside to see the zombies and the lich still hard at work with the comic.

"Hello again little one. Couldn't sleep?" Sepulcher asks, not taking his eye sockets off his work.

Emerald comments that he had quite a good sleep actually.

"Oh, is it morning already? My goodness, how time flies."

Emerald asks about the library he was talking about before.

"I'll show you it in a second. I'm nearly finished with this." He says.

Instead, Emerald asks him about his amulet. He walks over to the undead lord and shows it to him. Sepulcher still doesn't look up from his work. He takes a few seconds, and then says,

"Yes… When we first captured you I took a look at it. Anti-magic, bound to you, and infested with a very… Interesting demon. Where did you get such a thing, child?"
