Emerald apologizes for being a questioning colt, but he's just so curious! He then follows that statement by asking about how often Lord Sepulcher travels.

"Not very often. That was sort of a one time thing. Now the farthest he ever travels is just goes to meet his editor."

Emerald asks if she and Joyride ever went on any adventures.

"N-no… We never left the camp while she was in Lord Sepulcher's tutelage." The lady says holding her giant claw up delicately to her face.

Emerald asks if any of her old merc gang is still around.

"Nope… Most of them were destroyed or returned to the earth when Lord Sepulcher dismantled his army. But it's okay, I'm not lonely!"

Emerald gives the Lady a hug, and then sits up straight and pulls out his focus again. He attempts to cast the shield spell around her again, but then gets a sudden dizzy spell and has to lay down…

Might be time to try something else besides magic. What else is there to do though? He supposes he could look around, or maybe waste time until Joyride appears.
