Emerald asks if the Lithops can be used for alchemy.

"Hmm… Not as far as I know. You'd have to ask a proper alchemist though, they could probably tell you!" Loupe says, examining the strange plant further.

Emerald then asks if she's ever wanted to use a love potion before.

"N-no! Of course not. I mean it's not real love you know, it's a potion and it'll wear off and…" Loupe says, looking up and Emerald. For someone who isn't an alchemist though she seems to know a bit about the potion.

The colt asks where she came from.

"You mean the city or the University? Well I guess either way it's the same place. I'm from Haunchhock Academy!" She says.

Emerald comments that he likes her cutie mark. It's a green book, and upon closer inspection reads "biology".

"Thanks! I got it one day after borrowing some plant and bird identification books and getting lost in the forest near Haunchhock. Ha ha… It was quite foolish of me." Loupe says with a smile.

Emerald says she has very pretty eyes, and that's she is pretty smart and cute.

"O-oh… U-um…" The bespectacled pony stammers, looking away from Emerald with a blush, "T-thanks?"
