Clover asks Silverwind what kind of medicine they have, and if Saber has seen a doctor.
"It's not that kind of sickness, Clover. I thought I told you not to ask questions about that? He… well, he needs some magical help. Help I can't really give. Maybe Vee will know something about it, when we get to port. But we do have things to treat most injuries; bandages, healing wares, medicines, hugs. The works."
Clover wants to know more about Silverwind in general.
"Ah, really? Well, I come from the old kingdoms, before Equestria was really founded. I used to be one of the Unicorns who helped raised the sun and moon, believe it or not! Then again, that's not saying much. I'd say about a third of the unicorns you run into probably served Princess Platinum at some point. But the castle life isn't really for me, y'know? I used to be the apprentice of the Court Healer, but I gave that up when Equestria was founded. I wanted to explore the new land, so I became a traveler, and soon after, a pirate."
Clover wants to know more about how the ship works. "Well uh… there's wind, lots of it, and I turn the wheel on the helm… really, I don't know the mechanics beneath the hull. I leave Timbers in charge of that. If she'd ever come down from the crows nest with her Mare friend…" He snorts. "Maybe I can get her to show you tomorrow, before we land in port."
Clover thinks about the ship that Silverwind attacks, and wonders if they'll see battle. "Doubtful. In fact, we're usually traders ourselves. Pirating is just a side hobby to sell loot on the black market. It's kinda why we're not ruthless murderers. Coin Toss actually makes more money if we loot his ship because of the market; we pay him back and the Princesses pay him for the damages. It's an odd system."
