rarity was perfect for volunteering to be my demo pony for the pixie size pattern. she's adorably cute and fits in the palm of your hand! the pixie size pony is about the same height as my mini /chibi, but the overall look is much more petite and proportionate. (the chibi has more cartoony-chubby fun proportions). pixie ponies will have very simplified details because there's not much room to work with for their cutiemarks, hence just one symbol…but oh so cute!!! i know her cutiemark isnt perfect but i wanted to test out my embroidery machine, hard to explain in words here (it's been acting funny lately…grrrrr)raritys glasses are embroidered onto felt and has 2 red little acrylic gems glued to the corners. her ruler is minky and has satin stich increment marks. rarity herself is completely made with white, amethyst and jewel minky. eyes are embroidered with rayon thread. lots of work in this little one
