(sniff) “You’re lucky Jewel loves you so much, you little devil! I don’t know how she hasn’t kicked you out already!”

In celebration of International Cat Day (October 29), meet Taaffeite, Radiant Jewel’s cat. He’s one of Opal’s grandkittens and he’s the sweetest and most adorable kitty ever! At least, that’s what Jewel says. And her kids. And basically everypony but her wife.
Storm is convinced that this cat is trying to make her life a living Tartarus, biting and scratching her for no reason, sleeping on her face at night, and waking her up at unholy hours to feed him. Not to mention those dang allergies, which have existed her whole life but have only come out now.
Despite all of this, Storm has found herself doing most of the work in taking care of Taffy, feeding him, cleaning his litter box, and even taking him to the vet. Allergy medications and love for her wife are the only things keeping Storm from hauling him off to the animal shelter. And, as much as she hates to admit it, he is kind of cute…
At least it’s only one cat and not a whole litter of them! And luckily Taffy is a neutered male…right?
