So I had this mini not-head-cannon that Treehugger was the Equestrian version of Scottish. Mostly cause of the red mane but I thought it'd be interesting if that was the case. The basic jist would be is that her family is made up of lumber jacks that live up north but she later moved and lost her accent. The only time her accent would flare up is when she is super high and on rare occasions, mad.

These guys are my made up family for Treehugger as she introduces her hubbie/soul-mate (depending on who you ask) to them. The first is her mother, the smallest of the bunch. Her name is Willow (after the weeping willow) and is usually a sweet and quiet mare. Unless you mess with her family, then she goes full on mama-bear. Don't let her go mama bear. Next to her is her husband, Plaid Stripes. He was born to fabric weavers but chose a different path for his own life. He is the looming giant of the family and generally runs things though he rarely speaks. And lastly, the stallion is Treehugger's baby brother (though he will deny this to his grave since he's bigger than her), Saw Mill. He is super protective of his big sis and refuses to accept that anyone is worthy of her. Especially not to scrawny city pony who looks like a slight breeze could knock him down.
