I’ve never liked children, I’ve never wanted to be a parent or even interact with small members of my own family. Their brains are wired differently, they say weird shit, theyre easy to offend and are just generally creepy.

That said, I adore baby animals. They’re cheeky and hyperactive, they just want to play and have a good time. The weird thing is all that can be said about human children, I just interpret it differently when I know they’re intelligent and capable of judging me.

So I find baby ponies in the show a mixed bag, theyre baby animals but they talk and emote and cry (I’m looking at you, Cake spawn). But baby AJ is amazing, she’s confident and hungry and wants those fritters, and you’ll give them your fritters cause she’s got the appetite of a full-grown stallion!

This one was part of an art pack of sketches I made for my friend TG, as a while back I was beginning to notice my upcoming financial problems and he offered to pay me to send him some signed sketches. I’ve been making a few more art packs for people over the past few weeks, and might offer them as commissions in future. So far it’s canon characters only, and I make around a dozen sketches per pack.

I’m not asking for commissions right now, it’s just that people have expressed interest in behind the scenes stuff so I’m doing a stream of consciousness thing.
